Inspired by Martha Washington’s bathing gown, this simple piece is for those wishing to take the sea air in the height of fashionable 18th century swimwear.

Thread: linen (+ cotton if hand finished)
"Hand Sewn" indicates an item that is made with the most historically accurate methods possible. "Hand Finished" looks entirely correct on the outside, but contains modern interior seam finishes. "Machine Stitched" uses period correct shapes, but is done with modern methods.
A request for measurements will be sent to the email used at checkout but for general sizing to ensure fabric availability, please choose from one of the following:
A - up to 36" chest & 11" upper arm
B - up to 44” chest & 14" upper arm
C - up to 52” chest & 17" upper arm
D - up to 60" chest & 20" upper arm
